How do I know what my arm/shoulder volume is?
There is no specific measurement we use for this, because it’s about the overall shoulder and arm volume (which is hard to measure and size for).
Here are some things to consider for getting your base volume:
- How do long-sleeve shirts typically fit your arms and shoulders? Is the size and/or material elasticity something you often check? Do you sometimes need to size up or down to accommodate that? If not, you are probably average for our purposes.
- Do you prefer a looser fit around the armpit in shirts? If so, you may want to size up.
What if I can't decide between Arm Braid sizes?
For those who are on the cusp of two sizes, you likely can use either size, but might find one fits your needs better than the other. The chart below can help you determine if you should go with the smaller or larger size between the two.
