The ARM Braid gives supportive comfort for your shoulder rotator cuff, elbows and wrists.

The ARM Braid comes in five sizes. The sizing depends on the volume (length and width) of your arms. Use the size chart below to choose the best size. If you are not certain between two sizes, choose the larger size -- people tend to underestimate.

To get the most benefit from the ARM Braid, it is best to start with the CORE Braid to retrain stabilization of your shoulder blades and rotator cuffs before working with the ARM Braid. The CORE and the ARM can be worn together or separately.

The ARM Braid is one piece that wraps around each arm and crosses behind the shoulders.

How do I know what my arm/shoulder size is?

Think of it in a relative sense. It’s about the overall volume of your arms and shoulders. There is no specific measurement, as this can vary widely.

If you were buying a long-sleeve shirt, do they typically fit well in the shoulder and/or arms? If you don’t often check shirts for this fit, you are probably average.

Also consider if you prefer a tighter or looser fit around the armpit.

What if my wingspan is greater than my height?

In the general population, a person's wingspan is often the same as their height. However, people with connective tissue disorders are more likely to have a difference between the two.

If you do have a significant difference in wingspan vs. height, use your wingspan to determine your Arm Braid size.

If you decide to measure your wingspan, it's best to do with with an assistant. Stand against a wall, extend your arms straight out at shoulder level, making sure that your hands, elbows, and shoulders are aligned. Have your assistant use a pencil to mark the tips of your middle finger on each hand. Measure the distance between these two points to get your wingspan.

What if I’m in between two Arm Braid sizes?

For those who are on the cusp of two sizes, you likely can use either size, but might find one fits your needs better than the other. The chart below can help you determine if you should go with the smaller or larger size between the two.

Size down Size up
Support type/feel Stronger support, invigorating Gentler support, relieving
Activities Shorter duration Longer duration
Wingspan Wingspan = height Larger wingspan than height
When in doubt, size up
